Scott Lorimer

Scott Lorimer is a technology executive, entrepreneur, and product development leader with more than 35 years of experience building and scaling technology companies across financial services, software, and enterprise infrastructure markets.

Most recently, Scott served as Chief Technology Officer of Acadia, a leading global provider of risk management, margin, and collateral management solutions serving the financial industry. Under Scott’s leadership, Acadia’s technology platform became the market standard for margin call communications on a global scale. Scott was responsible for the company's technology strategy and product development team contributing to Acadia's successful acquisition by London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in 2023.

Prior to Acadia, Scott co-founded Radius Partners, a provider of software and services solutions for the post-trade financial services industry. Radius was subsequently acquired by publicly traded Fundtech, further demonstrating Scott's track record of building and scaling successful technology businesses.

Earlier in his career, Scott was a co-founder of Aether Systems, a wireless data software company that completed a successful public offering in 2000 and subsequently raised approximately $2.3 billion to acquire and integrate a portfolio of companies in the wireless data sector. He has also held product and service development leadership roles at Charles Schwab & Co.

Throughout his career, Scott has built expertise in technology strategy, product development, enterprise software, platform architecture, and business scaling. At Helios Foundry Partners, he provides strategic guidance on new incubation candidate opportunities. This includes feasibility and go-to-market planning regarding technology innovation, infrastructure build-out, product development and implementation.
